It's possible that neither Aso nor Abe were directly involved, but it is clearly a fact that people under the control and direction of Aso as minister doctored the reports with the specific intention of benefiting Abe. So we need to know exactly who was involved at all levels, and why.

Instead of asking Aso why Akie's name was removed from the document, Abe said "When you look at the documents even before they were altered, it is clear that my wife and I were not involved". Another collusion. The document can't alter itself, but it was altered. That is the point. Similarly, the price can't drop by itself, but it was dropped. That is another point. Akie can't be born a honorable principle of the privileged school, but she was. That is the third point. No man would kill himself because of being sane unless he was guilty, but the man in the case did. That is the fourth point. This is a collusion. Akie will say exactly the same thing when asked because she was watching the parliament drama at home and wouldn't miss even one word of it. Should Abe declare his relationship with Akie first to the parliament and excuse himself from the answer and let the police do the investigation ? They already have the original document and there is nothing in it to implicate Abe. What exactly more is there? If nothing, can the opposition be sued for libel and misuse of public resources?
