Taiwan president says she has no plan to talk to Suga

China's foreign ministry said late on Saturday that Japan had told them such a thing "will never happen", after Beijing sought clarification from Tokyo.

That’s disappointing on Japan’s part of true.

Will “never” happen? Never is a long time.

These public statements are pretty much meaningless.

Taiwan, the free world has your back.

Suga and Tsai should talk, especially now that SK can't be depended on.

Suga just came to power literally days ago.

Give it a few weeks I'm sure Tsai is looking for any allies she can find right now.

Its more than likely a misunderstanding by the media.

Taiwan not being recognized as a real government should simply be given the namesake of "NEVER CHINA". Then the whole world will know who they are referring to. Long live freedom and democracy in a sea of ambiguity...

CCP china is doing a great job of showing the world that it gives absolutely two stuffs about international law, treaties, trade, mutual cooperation and all the rest of it, and acts only for its own good. this will ultimately be its undoing as the international community further snubs china and moves their manufacturing to other countries--china will eventually collapse from within as it struggles to keep the populace placated before they rise up against their oppressive overlords.

taiwan on the other hand has proven itself to be a model international citizen, one that Japan and the world should be fully embracing and recognizing.

@reasonandwisdomnippon Yes, everything that you said in your comment makes a lot of sense. The “no plans” part obviously makes sense, because like you said, he just got in office days ago. Wait like a month or so, and that may very well change.

I think if the US came out and said it supports the "One China" policy but will not refer to which china (Taiwan is the ONLY real China, not the fake communist party one) then that will give all the other countries a way to support Taiwan by not saying "who" they view as china. :)
