Abe looks like he doesn't like the U.N. chief's point of view at all

Abe: "Who is this guy again?"

Rest assured the Trump - Abe co-op is not asleep.

They are walking with intent - albeit, eyes wide shut.

Inspiring words from the UN, now if only they could actually do something for once and shut down NK's nuke program. The UN is all talk and its purpose is becoming unclear

The picture would've been a little bit more entertaining if Abe is plugging his ears with his pinkies and singing "la la la la la"

Two days after U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson offered to begin direct talks with North Korea without pre-conditions.

The White House said Wednesday that no negotiations could be held with North Korea until it improves its behavior.

Aren't these two statements directly contradictory or am I missing the point? Hasn't NK already demonstrated that it has no intention of complying with anything from the UN and stated that denuclearization is not an option.......

UNproductive.

They should all be UNemployed

No doubt Abe is thinking, "Wish this guy would shut up!" since he had just finished his big speech about not wanting dialogue, and since he seems very much to want others to go to war for the US and then they can "help" in the lead-in to taking Japan back to pre-war days.

"The worst possible thing that could happen is for us all to sleepwalk into a war that might have very dramatic circumstances, (U.N. chief Guterres)

And the worst thing that could happen is for all of us to sleepwalking into appeasement to N Korea that will have very dramatic circumstances for S Korea.

But that's the way its heading as the UN is desperately trying to avoid military conflict and angering China and Russia.

When Guterres goes to N Korea and asks "What do you want?", Kim will reply with the old DPRK "Final Victory" demands of U.S. withdrawal from the peninsula, a peace treaty whereby SK agrees to surrender and accept unification of Koreas under DPRK government and UN recognition of DPRK as the legitimate government of Unified Korea.

And I'll bet Guterres appease Kim and say, "We agree to your terms if it means DPRK will cease threats of nuclear weapon and missile tests."  (Yeah, right.)   Then China and Russia will pressure Moon to accept the "agreement".  How will he explain to his people that they will soon be living under the totalitarian communist DPRK regime?
