Trump is gunning for war :(

Not anymore than anyone else is. Certainly not as much as Kim Jong Un is.

Trump is gunning for war :(

What a ridiculous thing to say........You know that for a fact? Maybe you should take it all in before you react or over react!

The problem is that Trump does not agree with himself re: NK (or much else - it depends on his mood). So when you say you "agree with hi," you're tying yourself to a flawed man, not any logical process.

Personally i don't think issuing some sort of ultimatum is in us/japan/sk's interest (trump's 'fire and dury' threats didnt work that well did they).

Actually think they worsen an already tense situation and give KJU ammo to be even more defiant.

Bush and Obama did nothing to reassure Japan on Korea. Atleast Trump is a proactive president and keeping in touch with the japanese government on a regular basis.

Abe completely agrees, as he feels any conflict will enable him to fulfil his pet project of changing the constitution, and he hopes to make money for Japan's stagnant economy, by joining the arms race.

Be careful what you wish for, Shinzo, America is far from NK's reach, and Trump will throw you under the bus.

You'd be better off shutting down all the pachinko parlours.

"I cannot tell you about our forthcoming response to North Korea, but we have just completely agreed on it,"

That's the scariest thing about this. Him and Trump agreeing on something, god help us.

Well, if these two are going to take action against the DPRK they had better hurry up because South Korea is ready to march over the boarder and "decapitate the regime" according to yesterday's news. Japan and the US should stay out of it and let the south take care of it. By doing this, China will have not intervene.

Saw that too... being prepared by American forces. There are still things stopping South Korea from doing it though.

Here's the article I read.

Well it does end this way...

"don’t expect the plan to take effect anytime soon."

So any further comments about Trump on the several different NK threads should now include the words '(and Abe too)' whenever something negative is said about Trump's policy. Abe 'COMPLETELY agrees' with what Trump is doing.

Not just the destruction of Tokyo, but also Seoul! america is safe if you camp out at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey.

They both agree they have no idea what to do. Congrats!

Take this "North Korean misfit out" before he gets the free World in a very bad situation!

'Take him out'

Just like in a gangsta movie?

Dream on....,,

So Abe wants Trump to go ahead with the military strike he has been threatening, and never mind the consequences for South Korea or Japan? Also though Trump changes his mind every time he speaks, he has more often talked about a military solution than the alternatives. And Abe agrees with that?

Also though Trump changes his mind every time he speaks,

Could be that Trump is publicly playing the "disinformation" game, deliberately making contradicting and confusing statements to mislead and confuse Kim and the media.

The Russia and China do that all the time.

But what leaders say in private between themselves, behind closed doors, is a different story.  Who knows what Abe and Trump really agreed to.  We can speculate all we want on "what that next step" will be.

The North has the habit of engineering crisis to leverage aid. Just don't pay attention to them and they'll stop.

canadianbento: "Take this "North Korean misfit out" before he gets the free World in a very bad situation!"

You obviously don't know much about the military generals who would immediately take his place and actualize their life-long mission of war, do you?

In this prison-yard of a situation, Japan has just been made NK's female dog, and if they don't step up and act now, they're going to be permanently in that position. This was a test -- and NK will DEFINITELY fire more, and more, as they get more comfortable with Japan doing nothing. Problem for Japan is, there is NOTHING it CAN do except hide behind the US, which is also powerless (but less threatened by immediate NK actions). Too bad Japan has spent the last few years bragging about how it could and would do anything, 'cause NK just called its bluff.

Of course 100%. Abe isn't a fool. He has to agree with 100% confidence.
