The article says that Xi told Abe there would be a meeting.

Shouldn't he have invited Abe to a meeting? Telling him that there will be a meeting sounds like he is ordering him to attend. Not a good precedent.

Japan and China are the strong countries in this relationship if it builds up more in future. S. Korea is half a country who always needed someone else to intervene and help them. Koreans are focused for now and in the future on reunification, one thinking it will be under S. Korea twisted form of democracy and North thinking they will reunite under Kim regime.
