Much as I agree with you, the next "leader" in the rotation is Aso again. Regardless of who eventually replaces Kishida, he (or very improbably she) will be the same or worse. Japan has no hope for a decent politician.

I think the current Prime minister is the best one in a long time, and other parties, who won’t win anyway, have nobody better.

Sigh... that too, yes. Can you believe there is an actual decibel level law here? Election cars make me wish I had an EMP weapon of some kind.
