Nice to see anti-US, anti-Japan comments dropping off a bit. They stand with Ukraine. As does the UK, the Baltics, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Canada, Australia, South Korea, Taiwan, and the rest of the Allies. Mr. Zelenskiy is an exceptional leader of our times. And the Ukrainians fight fascists for all of us. Love and respect to Ukraine.

Kishida to consider visiting Ukraine if right conditions are met

Those conditions being the comfort of Kishida. We support the Ukrainians in there struggle for freedom…..wait I have to actually go there?

Among the G7 countries, British, Canadian, French, German, and Italian leaders have already visited Ukraine since the war began. In December, U.S. President Joe Biden also held a summit with Zelenskyy in Washington.

... this is embarrassing for Japan?

Ukraine is just an excuse by NATO to have a war with Russia. This has been an agenda. After that they will go on to China. It is called World domination for their one World government and one religion.

Japan always wants it both ways. It will be the same with any confrontation with China started by the US military.

Perhaps Kishida sent Dewi-fujin as his goodwill ambassador to check things out ahead of time. He will decide to go or not to go, based upon her recommendations and advice.

I mean really now, the Kishida and the LDP are just a bunch of "celebrities" like their counterparts on variety TV here.

At the gathering, Kishida plans to set out his vision of a world without nuclear weapons

Great way to waste his and everybody's time.

You really have to wonder why a lackluster leader like Kishida should physically go to the Ukraine at this juncture . If you are going to give them money and support just do it. Spare us the opportunistic self promoting and photo ops please! What possible good do all these visits really do? Seeing TrueDough over there made me wanna be sick….

Surely they’ve suffered enough over there?!

-4 ( +20 / -24 )

What a whole waste of time wasters, literally the title should say, Japanese PM not sure to do something so sticks head in sand in hopes they go away.

Go to do what? Another photo op? Send him to Bakhmut so he can see first hand.

5 ( +11 / -6 )

u have better sit home, stop wasting taxpayers money more for nothing and start to work.

Japan have so many local problems to be solved.

Kishida to visit Ukraine. Kishida will do whatever his master's from the rogue state of the USA tell him to do. After all, it is a pseudo US/NATO war.

-5 ( +13 / -18 )

Was he inspired by Dewi Sukarno?

Kishida to consider visiting Ukraine

YES! Please do it!

I got 5 on it!

-2 ( +5 / -7 )

Kishida has been eager to make a trip to Ukraine

Kish can't even identify which continent the Ukraine is in.

3 ( +11 / -8 )

I guess there aren’t so many right conditions for a visit left over there.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

He should take Mori with him if he goes.

-3 ( +10 / -13 )

If Kishida cannot make the trip under the present conditions........STAY IN JAPAN!

No one cares.

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida said Wednesday that he will consider visiting Ukraine to hold talks with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy if the right conditions are met.

What, like a guaranteed bounce in the opinion polls?

2 ( +4 / -2 )

No more talk, book your flight already (well, he has his own plane, but as a matter of speech).

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Prime Minister Fumio Kishida of Japan, the time to consider visiting Ukraine is *now! now !! And NOW!!!

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Kishida's backside must be getting sore from sitting on the fence so often.

Maybe a condition is a sizeable donation to the LDP.

I've just read in a public: " If the victory of Ukraine and the West - is to cut out all Russians in the Donbass and Crimea, put missiles and NATO bases in Crimea, keep a bunch of biolabs in Ukraine and laugh in our face - how did they buy a drug clown, shut down all our media and lied to the whole world, pumped up the Ukronazis with weapons and subsequently "won" all this? In that case, I am not against nuclear war." Don't u see a difference in the vision of situation? Why is the difference? Don't u think that u are simply a victim of one-side information manipulation? But u are!

Stand with Ukraine? All they are doing is throwing more gasoline on the fire and extending the death and destruction of Ukraine.

Exceptionally bad. He sacrificed his country and citizens for NATO's proxy war...
