With trends in Japanese voters is not hard to secure continuity .

Frustrated with unrigged Democracy.
Horrible thought, that the plebs might decide things.
That’s right.
Don’t let anyone forget it.
Union Church, Soka Gakkai…

The LDP needs to kick Komeito out the Government.

The Komeito was responsible for achieving many good results. They were behind giving people money during the covid and more recently the government's 20% subsidies on the power and gas bills.

Those were bad results, not good ones.
They were spending OUR money willy nilly.

Impossible for leadership, including Japan, to oppose will of people. Japan, like EU & US, people want LESS Inflation & LESS War. Why Global Leadership's Now SO Unpopular.

And who will replace Komeito's solid voting machine?
Soka Gakkai members are united and regard voting for Komeito as part of their Buddhist practice. Those who fall out of line or question their policies are subtly denounced as 'parasites within a lions body'. Like that line in the Gosho said.

Yes, people shouldn't forget that without the Komeito partnership, the LDP wouldn't give anything back to the people, only to its corporate overlords.
garypen
Nnnnnope.

Millions of people and businesses were grateful for help during the pandemic and helped stop many from going under.

There is no requirement for Soka Gakkai members to vote for the Komeito Party. It is a personal decision. There are members who do not as there are also non-members who vote for the Komeito. Not even 100% of members vote in elections. Probably 90% of SG members vote for the Komeito. There are times when there is no Komeito candidate so the vote usually goes to the LDP.
All voting is done in secret so really only the voter knows.
In the 2021 General Election Komeito received 7 million votes. That is less than the size of the SG membership.
The size of the SG membership is about 12 million over 8 million households.

Probably 90% of SG members vote for the Komeito.
That's still a huge voting block considering that Soka Gakkai is the largest religion in Japan.
There is no requirement for Soka Gakkai members to vote for the Komeito Party. It is a personal decision.
Of course there is no requirement, it's all voluntary. But Gakkai members go all out as part of their campaigns to convince their fellow members to vote for their candidates don't they.
'It’s all for kosen-rufu' and 'you will earn a lot of good fortune' and 'Let's be united in the spirit of many in body one in mind'.
I wonder if such conviction is on display when things turn sour sometimes. Like when that lawmaker Kiyohiko Toyama was caught partying with hostesses in Ginza during lockdown.

You pay back the debt then. Leave me out of it.

In the 2021 election, more than 5 million SG members did not vote or did not vote for Komeito. That is 41% of the membership.
Personally, I have never heard that. I know many Koemito politicians and they are good people working to try and better the lives of others.
There are always bad apples or people working to better themselves. He was fired from the party and he resigned from the Diet.
