Is there anything new? New re-branding?

Prime Minister Fumio Kishida said Tuesday he instructed a government economic policy panel to compile "urgent proposals" by early November to flesh out his signature "new capitalism" vision.
It is not like I have had a career with the ruling party to craft a vision!
The proposals will include promoting the development of advanced technologies for digitalization and decarbonization and economic security issues, including securing semiconductor supplies as "top priorities," Kishida told the panel's first meeting.
Kishida listening to the cry of the people on the street in crafting these core issues that are of urgent concern for people's everyday lives.
The panel will focus on issues such as expanding the middle-class through wage hikes and improving working conditions for nonregular employees and freelancers, as Kishida pledged when being inaugurated as prime minister on Oct. 4.
The same proposals that were part of Abe's "third arrow". I see biannual pilgrimages to Keidanren to pretty please urge them to change their exploitative business practices and raise wages.

Japan still wonder, why their economy will never grow,China and US economy are married to each other's, American prefer Chinese goods over Japanese, the US stimulus feed China growth

As soon as you see the words "government panel" you can rest assured that any outcome is at least a decade away.

Any change Japan does it will be countered. Stopped.
Japan's economic rise was already countered In the late 80s with the Plaza Accord. Still suffering consequences from that disaster.

So, they will be maintaining the existing labor market regulations, and hoping for miracle bandaids to make it all better.
The Isshin party’s proposals for labor market reforms would be far more promising, but have zero chance of being adopted at this time.
The slow slide down the drain continues.

So instead of trickle down it will be “The Golden Shower down” Brace yourselves Tax payers there is another round of negative impact for us. From a government panel made up of people who have never had to scramble in their pockets to find that extra ¥10 to pay for a one cup noodles.

Get ready for a return of 1970s stagflation, with even higher taxes this time round. Y'all gonna have lots of fun.

If those are the top priorities in that ‘new capitalism’ , it’s of course better to continue withholding and standing with the old one. Those named topics are of no use and of no good.

Again there is nothing here that benefits the average Taro or Yoko, is there?
And what has the LDP done in the past 30 years to improve the lot of its population.
Japan is a vast stagnant pond…

This "new capitalism" sounds like the WEF's Build Back Better with Japanese Characteristics.

Lets hope it's soon because the "old capitalism" has turned Japanese culture, society and Japanese civilization itself (as a sub branch of Chinese civilization) into a socioeconomic disaster area.

You're always mentioning them. Are you campaigning for them or something?
fxgai
I’m not campaigning for them, no.
But of all the parties, Isshin look like the only one that has remotely a clue about how to turn Japan around, in my opinion. For the sake of my children I hope that much needed reforms come to Japan before too much longer.

What, you mean all he had was slogans and empty rhetoric when he got elected prime minister? He didn't actually have any urgent proposals of his own? Who would have thought it?
