Cool!

Don’t see the point, did she ever even met him? Seems a bit hollow to send someone with no personal connection? There must be someone else, Trump is busy. I would suggest Trumps wife. And her appearance fee a lot cheaper.

"No, it's going to be a total unnecessary tax payer [sic] burden..."
Why can't you spell 'taxpayer' correctly?

Kamila smells chance da! Sidekick to Obama. Instabai! Pelosi got hers, so it’s definitely time to go to work. American democrat Kabuki, politicking by the pros, enjoy the show.

“ U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris plans to attend a state funeral for slain former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe next month in Tokyo, a diplomatic source said Sunday. “
… not enough. smh
…
Trump was best buddies with him… but(!) I guess he has a lot on his mind now …

Nothing wrong with VP Harris attending. Shinzo Abe may not have been popular with many domestically, but he was a good friend of the United States.

Welcome Vice President Harris. It would be a great opportunity to network and promote some strong Japanese women in leadership positions in and outside of government if there were actually any here to reach out to.

I don’t know 100pct how these things work, but I’d guess protocol mandates someone the level of a Vice President for an EX leader - nothing more or less. Arranging a Presidential trip is too much and he was just here in late May.

Protocol says the VP of the US attends a State Funeral.

Did she even know Abe-san?

Harris is attending as a representative of the United States. Not as a personal friend. She is doing her job.

From the United States, former President Barack Obama more than represents the diplomatic protocols.
As does former German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
Under the circumstances, this action shows respect and recognition for former Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe, Japan's longest serving prime minster.

A fitting tribute indeed...

Correct protocol for a previous long serving PM and ally. Some very disrespectful comments above.
