G7 ministers agrees to urge Russia to defuse Ukraine tensions

American (and Nihonsei) propaganda NEVER mentions that Ukraine is in the midst of a CIVIL WAR. The eastern portions of the country have rejected the central government and have declared themselves independent political entities and that purposely confusing Western accounts of 'fighting and death in Ukraine' are Ukrainians fighting Ukrainians. Should Russia recognise these independent regions as separate states (as Britain would have done the southern U.S. in the U.S. Civil War had not RUSSIA intervened), sending 'assistance' would NOT be 'invasion' having been INVITED by the local authorities to provide such 'assistance'. Whatever the case here for 'intervention', the situation here is a bit more complex than just 'Russian aggression' as the, essentially, lies of the Western reporting suggest. I have no stake nor inclination here other than just hating the intentional misleading simplifications inherent in Western propagandistic 'news'...and it may even be that Russian intervention in the Eastern Ukraine stopping the current civil war could even 'save lives'...just sayin'

It best the Russian military do Putin end, than having to answer to the 10 of thousands unnecessary death on hand, Russia will not leave without a bloody nose, then again Putin would use his cyanide pill, he was prescribed as a spy and spare his country

Not sure that I see the logic in these two sentences. Yes, Russia can do whatever it wants in its borders, but why does this preclude other countries like NATO members and Ukraine from doing the same? NATO isn’t doing anything at all to interfere with the internal affairs of Russia, nor is Ukraine.

Russia built CSTO so NATO is going nowhere whether that Russian organization stays or disbands.

I was demonstrating the fact the article and figures it shows are clearly biased.

I was just referencing it because it contains a comprehensive list of opinion polls conducted in Ukraine on the question of whether people are for or against joining NATO. These clearly show that the “for” NATO side has been consistently more popular than the “Against” side since 2014.

If you want me to believe your earlier assertion that “Even now opinion polls show the majority of the population is against NATO membership”, then show me some opinion polls which show that. The wikipedia article, biased or not, is providing evidence to directly support the opposite conclusion. If you can’t refute that with actual evidence then I have to conclude that you were lying about it.

Just goes to show Stalin was right when he said, "Those who cast the votes decide nothing. Those who count the votes decide everything."

Ukraines territorial integrity is an issue to be decided by the Ukraine and Russia and not NATO .

It was probably inevitable with every country in the world being so dependent on burning huge amounts of gas and oil that the most aggressive countries with the largest reserves of oil and gas and militaries with thousands of nuclear weapons would be able to have the leverage the Russian Federation has. 

Since when was the Ukraine problem about oil ? I guess if Russia was to create a military base in Cuba it will be accepted by U.S and it's allies and you will say it is about oil.

Russia and its allies have offered to send peacekeepers immediately to the Donbass border with Ukraine, in an effort to defuse the situation.

The ball is now in the UNSC court. Do they want peace or sell US gas to Europe?

Wrong! It’s not about wanting to stay, it’s about what we have and what is realistically sustainable and there are no long term alternate solutions that can replace fossil fuels and the environmentalists know it. Hopefully that day will come when we can truly say “goodbye” to fossil fuels.

I always wonder if NATO didn't send agents to Ukraine in hordes, taking advantage of the confusion after the collapse of the Soviet Union, and turn it to a pro-NATO country. 　If so, this must be a real cause for the explosive Ukrainian problem today.

Russia has warned that it could take "military-technical measures" if the United States and its allies continue to reject Moscow's demand for security guarantees precluding Ukraine's entry into NATO.

It was probably inevitable with every country in the world being so dependent on burning huge amounts of gas and oil that the most aggressive countries with the largest reserves of oil and gas and militaries with thousands of nuclear weapons would be able to have the leverage the Russian Federation has. 

Now leaders from around the world are paying attention to the modern era’s cross between Napoleon and John D. Rockefeller with a little George Bush (both former CIA director and his son) mixed in, Putin has learned through his years in the KGB to take control of the global Establishment and how to maintain control ,and has shown that he is willing to use his nation’s military forces to maintain his personal wealth. 

Too bad for the Russian people that Putin has taken so much from his country and given so little back to the Russian people at least not the oligarchs. Putin is as bad or worse than the tsars before him. But given how popular Putin is with so many around the globe, especially those in the far right, maybe many rightist wing extremists have have not read much history, or maybe many of them want to return to the days when kings and tsars ruled over them. No wonder so many rightists are anti-progressive, and want to stay in the fossil era, when their faction of the establishment controls most aspects of life.
