Bye bye… you won’t be missed ! But this makes Japan a target for Russia who with Putin at the helm won’t hesitate to use nuclear weapons against its foe eventually. Putin knows that he can’t win in Ukraine through conventional means so will just go crazy and do drastic things in the end.

A shame. We need friendly neighbors.

Russia made its bed.

Galuzin is also known to adhere closely to Moscow's position on issues concerning its war on Ukraine and the Russian-held, Japan-claimed islands, known as the Northern Territories in Japan and the Southern Kurils in Russia.

Goodbye northern territories!!.. We lost them for stupid, to please the US..

Russia is no friendly neighbor. It has proven that beyond any doubt. Japan has no need for a Russian ambassador and would be better off hosting only a very low level diplomat from this terrorist nation.

Japan is moving closer to friendly nations and rightly moving away from the bad ones like Russia.

No, the way forward to any type of progress is to talk, debate and agree!

Putin stresses this in his many interviews with reference to treaties and opposing viewpoints.

We are all in a difficult situation and by ignoring our unique ability on this planet to communicate will lead us to a place where we just don’t want to go…

Ask the German people, as they shiver this winter, what they think of their friend the US.

Ask the German people, as they shiver this winter, what they think of their friend the US.

I have no doubt they prefer their ally the US over the terrorist state murdering Europeans in the Invasion of Ukraine. I am sure they wish their nation had alternatives to Russian gas, and they are actively seeking it out. They will survive this winter and by the next one will not need any Russian gas. Better than going to war against the Russian rampage.

The world is feeling the effects of Russian aggression with inflation on the back of sanctions against Russia. Prices are up for just about everyone, my country included. We understand the reasons behind this and that Russia is squarely to blame. We still support Ukraine freedom and defense against Russia. Better it cost us dollars over lives. No way we want to do business with Russia allowing it to do more damage to Ukraine.

Russia will not be allowed to win.

Renowned for his excellent Japanese skills even among Russian diplomats who are experts on Japan

No surprise, Russians are very good at learning new languages and they have excellent apps for learning/practicing Kanjis. I'm writing this as someone who still ask how such a culture turned to war and invasion of Ukraine, when they had so much to share with the world with all their cultural background. Really, still asking this question very sincerely.

did galuzin say something slightly wrong or look at someone the wrong way? i don't mind the guy (except his parroting the Ru narrative) and with his language ability he wouldve been an even better ambassador under normal circumstances - hope he doesnt happen to walk past a high window back home in the near future.
