Here we go again.  Talking up that an attack from an enemy (last time Iraq, this time NK) is imminent.  This will be gradually cranked up until the Clown-in Chief announces he had no other choice then to order an unprovoked attack to save freedom/ remove WMD/ protect US allies.  And the red-necks in rust belt city will be yahooing him along all they way to Armageddon if need be. 

America always needs an enemy to keep the arms industry going.  Where there is not an enemy they will create one.  Where there is no threat they will create one.  The USA - perpetually at war.

Little Kim is the ultimate terrorist. His threats and propaganda have the neighboring countries living in fear. He is already winning. However, the truth is, he is more likely to blow himself up than anyone else.

Does this remind anyone of GWB's "weapons of mass destruction" fraud. North Korea's weapons are primitive. Furthermore, North Korea is scared witless of us with our overwhelming firepower. Trump is looking for a distraction away from his failures in his first 100 days. We do not need another war.

Now, NK doesn't have the ICBM tech yet. But generally for a reference, I read that an ICBM travelling the distance between the USA and Russia takes around 20-30 minutes. I was shocked at first. Apparently, these things can travel of up around to 6-7 km/s.

The North Korea problem has been around much much longer than, and is not comparable to Iraq. North Korea's weapon development and stated goals are stated clearly by the North Koreans themselves. Not just some small right wing segment of that country but by their government. That the POTUS has issues of all sorts, including credibility does not negate the fact that North Korea has and continues to pose a real problem to the region, the U.S. and it's allies. There is no doubt that in a matter of a couple of years they may reach their goal of being able to hit the U.S. We can not allow them to have this capability. Other nations have ballistic missiles and nuclear warheads, but none of them openly state that they intend to "nuke" the United States. Even our strategic adversaries don't do this, and we don't do it to them. The crazy fat kid is different from Kim Il Sung or Kim Jong il, as evidenced by his relationship with China, as well as his elimination of family members.

@ ThePBot, I had thought that you had made a mistake with 6-7 km/s because that's just insanely fast. I looked it up and did the calculations and that's exactly what I found as well. Apparently, Russia's missile can fly at 15,000mph or 6.7km/s.

We just better hope that NK never gets a hold of that technology!

No, I'm talking about mainland USA. If you don't believe me, just look it up. Once it reach it's preferred altitude, it can travel that fast.
