@Goodluck:

Kim is labeled volatile because he is.

volatile: liable to change rapidly and unpredictably, especially for the worse.

Your oblique reference to the US is inaccurate, but the sentiment is understood.

Why do they call Kin Jong Un a "volatile" leader

He killed his brother. He killed his uncle in law. He probably killed his father, Kim Jeong il. No one knows whom he kills next. He is volatile.

Why do they call Kin Jong Un a "volatile" leader when has never illegally invaded another country or stationed battle groups off nations on the other side of the world?

Good point. He hasn't. I guess the accusations of volatility stem from the DPKRs use of bellicose language throughout it's history. The constant sabre rattling and threats.

Of course, having an equally unstable PotUS around only exacerbates matters and this is why the merry go round continues. As I always say - dialogue.

Tbf; Kim Jong Il had a history of dodgy health.

I guess NK shelling SK troops and sinking that SK ship didn't happen? Kidnapping foreign citizens? Conducting assassination plots in foreign countries?

DPRK, I mean!

II agree with posters, I highly doubt NK suddenly to be able to launch to 2000km's . Sounds like a reason to attack.

I don't believe this cover story now. I think this agenda is being pushed by the White House, to take the heat off of Trumpy, in light of forthcoming impeachment.

There will be no impeachment, only business as usual.

Admiral Harris Jr. should first answer the question why North Korea is making those missiles.

Secondly, he should tell us when , the exact date please, these obstacles in freedom of navigation in the South China Sea happened with the corresponding names of the ships stopped from sailin in that area.

if not , then the good Admiral is just warmongering and at the same time planting fear so that the Japanese side will spend more on defense and allow Amerika to continue colonizing the Ryukyus.

To counter this, PM Abe should immediately establish a more independent foreign policy and go to Pyongyang for direct talks with neighbor Kim.

Its time for Abe to have a Japan First policy!

yakyak

The wheels are coming off the Trump administration and if people can't see that then we really have problems.

Is the DPRK as 'volatile' as America was when it bombed Pyongyang to rubble?

No, I didn't so.......!
