Basically china shot their own foot by banning Japanese seafood since this creates a shortage of seafood in their restaurants. And now they want to catch fish in Japanese waters to make up for the fact that they (the chinazis) screwed up with the ban.

Trump levied billions of dollars of tariffs on Chinese goods but kept bank accounts in China and let his daughter continue to manufacture her clothes there while criticizing others for doing the same. I'd agree that TEPCO and Japan are responsible for the Fukushima situation but that's not the point is it. The point is that China bans Japanese seafood yet still takes fish from the same water where Japanese seafood comes from.

The original cause was that China, as a political card, embargoed Japanese seafood without any scientific basis.

Even if Japan releases treated water, there will be no impact on seafood imported by China.

Just like with rare earths and coal, policies change depending on the mood of the Chinese Communist Party.

If you deal with it all the time, it's just a waste of time.

What the Japanese government needs to do is limit the damage caused by rumors in China and look for new sales channels.

I wrote this before and it has since been deleted, but I don't care what the American ambassador to Japan says, but it does matter to Japan that the Russian ambassador to Japan keeps making anti-Japanese posts on social media.
