U.S., China clash over WTO at Asia-Pacific meeting

China has a mature economy. They need to follow the same rules as other mature economies.

Trump has made no secret of his belief that China has not acted in good faith since joining the WTO in 2001 and that it should be subject to the same trading rules as advanced economies.

I'm no Trump fan by any means......but why is the 2nd biggest economy in the world not subject to the same trading rules as advanced economies???

I really do believe that there are far too many of this silly agreements. They just feed big government and make life difficult for those not employed by BIG government.

I do not doubt that all sides have important issues to discuss, and grievances to air. However, having a fruitcake in the White House helps no one.
