Yes the Peoples Republic of China are digusting enough to use the death of sailors as propaganda.

YuriOtani,
Well, it would be just the same if they had been Chinese ships!

Hopefully we won't see China control most of the East Asia and the sea lanes around it. I'm tired of their ignoring human rights of deceptive tactics and misinformation.

Is it a coincidence that so many accidents involving US Navy ships have recently occurred in Asian waters? One or two incidents seemed possible, but now that there have been four, my suspicions of foul play are raised. The USN should investigate whether the computerized navigation systems on their ships have been compromised.

The Chinese have the Russian Low Tech solution, to the American High Tech systems, as previously reported.
Of course they're going to capitalize upon this without admitting anything, since for the Americans to capitulate that they have a severe weakness would be a serious egg on face matter for many, including the Chinese and Russian Defense industries who need to continue developing more high tech defenses against each other! It's the ultimate Conspiracy theory !

USA ships had sailors dead. Oil cargo ship avoided casurity of. crews.

@1glenn, completely agree with you that there may be a possibility that the U.S. ships' navigation systems were compromised somehow. But the sentiments by many posters here echo the Chinese propaganda that the U.S. Navy, either through incompetence or deliberate, is at fault for the incidents, a hazard to maritime safety and the U.S. military presence should be removed from the region.

That is because in both destroyer accidents the superstructures (where all the people are) were hit by the bow section (the front end where there are no people). Merchant ships have their superstructures far at the back of the ship far away from the point of impact.

If this is true I wouldn't spend another penny on anything made there.
