There’s no justification for inviting the champion of human rights violation as a state guest to Japan.

He is not welcome !!!

human rights violations aside he with held vital info to the WHO and the rest of the world regarding COVID19.

Abe will visit buddy trump in the country with the worst police oppression in the developed world, with highest number of covid19 deaths, in June, but not Host the Chinese leader and our closest neighbor.

does Abe realize the trade potential with China? China’s new Silk Road will access 60% of the worlds population.

but no, follow trump.

The CCP and PLA have taken advantage of the virus crisis to carry out territorial ambitions on East and South China Seas. The issue should be addressed and responded to accordingly. Otherwise Xi's state visit is out of question.

Why try diplomacy with the most corrupt and deceitful criminals on the planet?

@zodiac

this topic is about China not USA.

in case you don’t know, Xi Jinping has mounted a massive anti-corruption attack and I would like to know your sources to suggest that 1 in 6 people are “deceitful” and are “criminals”?

Excellent news. Japan absolutely benefits nothing from taking part in the current anti China sentiment. If Xi wants to destroy Hong Kong, that is his own stupidity. Japan also benefits allot from a stupid Chinese leader.

You just opened the dilemma of LDP cronies. China.

Most of the Japanese performing assets are in China. Most of the growth from the status of a net creditor comes from China. Pissing off China certainly means that their assets will be confiscated by the CCP.

At the same time, the US is willing to decouple from China. President Trump orders Japan, Australia, Canada and UK, the most loyal vassals, getting on board with the program. Most of them refused because China bought out many of their politicians as well as their foreign assets are stashed in China. Most LDP cronies are in pocket of Taiwanese and Chinese businesspeople who serve the CCP anyway. As you know, the US won't let China sliding from troubles this time. President Trump will force his vassals and the rest of Western world getting on the anti-China train, even if it costs their national economies.

The US has all the cards to crush China easier than the USSR. However, it is up to the loyal vassals being on his side or not.

If Xi wants to destroy Hong Kong, that is his own stupidity. Japan also benefits allot from a stupid Chinese leader.

The US will strip away Hong Kong's special status anyway. That action alone destroys Hong Kong for good. Xi Jinping had to swallow bitterness as the CCP passes the national security laws.

I don't think Japan benefited from any of these. Shinzo Abe will face a more erratic, violent China who currently holds the assets of LDP cronies and Keidanren as hostages. An anger from Xi means Japan's economy becoming toasted. Shinzo Abe must appease Xi at all costs.

Abe is now finally out of Trump’s shadow!

His entire family and LDP cronies would be assassinated by the CIA if any of them tries getting out of "Trump's shadow" aka the US. Ngo Dinh Diem was pursuing a successful anti-insurgent program until he became a Catholic fascist, then he and his brother were assassinated by the CIA. Park Chung Hee was secretly pursuing the nuclear weapon program but he stopped, still he got assassinated under the directions of CIA. Gaddafi was similar to Park, and he was killed by a coalition of Europeans and Americans. Those are just examples of what one tries defying the US.

The Pentagon controls Japan in the palm of their hands. None of Japanese leaders ever dares to defy the US on any issue.
