just check the stock market and jobs market

Is this a trick question?

Just check the profits the billionaire class is making. Also, the most recent study of job improvement has placed all the blame on eight years of Obama improvements.

Walmart, gets a $7 billion-dollar tax write-off to Trickle Down to the peons. They do so by firing 100,000. Perfect. For Trump weasels i.e. the Billionaire swamp.

There are only two areas of Trumps leadership that you could consider a success, depending on your politics

he has had a positive impact on U.S manufacturing.

the tax changes

Other than that, he has been a train wreck. At least he hasn't started another war in the Middle East, although even in that sphere he has sailed close to the wind.

Slammed the brakes on bad regulations, and signed off on tax cuts. Those are two important things he did. Don't care much for the rest.

For me the economy is most important. People are happy when they have good incomes etc etc. Consider this against the baseline that some had suggested on the day he was elected - some clown in the US apparently said that the US stock market was going to crash and "never" recover. Instead it's been going great guns. If people were going to blame a market crash on Trump's election but then the complete opposite happens, he does deserve some credit for that much.

From a social issue perspective, I'm happy I don't live in the US though. I just hope the economic leadership he's demonstrated spills over to Japan. We could use less useless regulations here, and lower taxes.

What Trump hasn't yet done though is fix the US budget deficit. That's what I'll judge him (on the US congress) on over the next three years, assuming he isn't impeached before then.

walfare recipients hate him, cross dressers hate him, hard workers and investors in the stock who MAKE MONEY like him.

-17 ( +6 / -23 )

The uneducated and nazis love him. And the rich... who are one or the other.

2 ( +15 / -13 )

The racists, the homophobes, the misogynists, the elitists, the moneymakers... they love him.

As do the media. Oh, individually, they may despair of the man. Don Lemon's remarkable takedown of Trump the other day was laudable. But there's no doubting that Trump generates clicks and attention.

Eventually, he will retreat to his bunker and try to continue to wage his surreal and hateful war on the rest of us from there but by then, reality and its allies truth and justice will be advancing.

Please run for office so I can vote for the other candidate.

Trying to look on the positive side, I guess has has somehow managed to avoid all-out war with North Korea.

Neither a diplomat or a politician. He is a civilian, whose ethicsin business are questionable.

However like it or loath it  Donald Trump is the democratically elected  POTUSOA.  No more no less.

You mean people that were brought into the country illegally? What rights do they have as an illegal person?

So now you just assume anyone originally from Africa or Haiti must have entered the country illegally?

Well, that is how you guys operate, isn't it.

By the way, when was the last time you wanted to book a vacation in Somalia or Haiti?

I already answered this question but you deleted it or got your buddy mods to delete it because it made you look bad.

What?

Try reading it. It will make more sense.

President Trump's first 12 months in office has been fantastic for those of us who work and pay taxes. My 401(k) increased more than 40%, and I'll be getting more take home pay starting next month. Far, far better than the one-time $40 tax rebate I received under Obama in office in 2012.

One year down, seven more years to go. MAGA. . . .

He must not like it -- he escapes to Florida at every opportunity!

Tax cuts = extra 1 trillion dollars (to already worlds biggest) deficit over 10 years. Check.

Alienate closest allies. Check.

Attack freedom of the press. Check.

Make numerous bad decisions in the international arena, eg Paris accords, Iran deal, Mexico wall, NAFTA, Israel, TPP, the list goes on. Check.

Make America look silly to the world. Check.

Play more golf than ALL other Presidents of USA combined while in office. In progress.

Make North Korean leader look intelligent by comparison. Check.

Lie about almost anything with a straight face. Check.

Show how racist and insensitive he really is. Check.

I would say his first year was a complete disaster. Exactly how an "alleged Russian puppet" President of America would be expected to perform.

What a laugh! Comparing him to Nazis just shows how idiotic some people are. Keep reading your liberal newspapers and focus on CNN, and your mindset will never change.

Granted, he has his flaws (his ego is one of them), but the man is earnestly attempting to bring jobs back to the USA. Just because Wal Mart cuts some employees (not all stores are highly productive, as anyone with the slightest business sense would know), the number of companies that are increasing employment far surpassing the ones that don't.

Time to do a little research into what is really happening behind the scenes.

Standard practice to discredit people you don't agree with, especially from the left. Interestingly they always say Hitler and not Stalin, who was arguably even worse than Hitler in terms of death toll. They don't say Mao either. Very limited knowledge of history these people possess.

Soon as somebody does the Hitler comparison I tune out of their argument completely. There done as far as I'm concerned.

Why look at the numbers, hating Trump is an easy bloodsport, truth to them and the media means squat.

Liberals aren’t known for that.

His personality is a fail according to my opinion, but that is not the question. He is trying to follow through on the agenda he ran on and was voted in on and he is doing that as best as possible.

Personally, I am glad he is there rather than Hillary, but my vote went for a "write in" for my state I voted within.

Snopes reports that Walmart is not firing anyone pertaining to a tax break policy.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

just check the stock market and jobs market pleeease any respected economist will tell you it hardly all or even most of the work by Trumps first year in office.

Far, far better than the one-time $40 tax rebate I received under Obama in office in 2012. these tax cuts arent sustainable and eventually theyll have to rise again, its expected to add another $Trillion to the deficit, and the people who will be paying for it are the children of current tax payers. thats the problem with many people living only in the now and cant see two feet in front of them.

Wait until the FISA Memo gets leaked or released. The S is gonna HTF.

Let me try this again, Trump limiting the number of immigrants from countries which don’t want to try and assimilate due to their religion or whatever doesn’t make him a racist! My parents were immigrants and I am proud of how hard they worked. I have never seen a religion that doesn’t assimilate like Islam.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

I think of two main areas where he has done an excellent job, considering the opposition he has. First, protecting the USA (a president's MAIN job) by being tough on illegal immigrants (just try being illegal in Japan, especially Mexico!), and by building up military. The USA (Japan too) absolutely MUST have a very strong military. Second is the economy. Very obviously beginning to grow! Not just for the rich, as libs always want to say (while themselves being filthy rich!), but I and everyone I know (NOT rich) are doing better. Black unemployment in USA is lower than it's been since the early 1970s, BEFORE Jimmy "Trust Me" Carter. President Trump is absolutely NOT a racist. HIs ego, eh, lower than 'Bama, and especially Bill Clinton, don't even think of AlGore. Whew, If I could by some of these for what they they're worth (not in dollars, but in ego) and sell them for what they think they're worth (ego), I'd also be filthy rich.

As an expat in Japan making ¥2.2 million a year to hop around with puppets and sing the "Good Afternoon Song", I'd tend to say "No."

As a business development guy for the US arm of a multinational that is absolutely killing it right domestically due to terrific confidence in the overall business climate under Trump amongst ourselves and our customers, and with a 401K and a couple Roth IRAs that are going through the roof, I'd tend to say "Yes."
