Actually, I don't spend online.

I get more, but spend less :-)

I've spent more online (as I also buy groceries, meds, toiletries etc. more online, rather than going to the supermarkets), but a lot less offline, since there's no travelling, eating at restaurants, club nights, etc.

Spent more because need of :
office furniture to get comfortable
laptop's accessories (screen, keyboard ...) to get comfortable
more electricity (computer / heater / aircon / cooking / light ...)Thunderbird2
I've been spending more on hobbies since I've been saving money by not driving to work (and so saving money on petrol)... lately I have been allowed to go into the office a couple of times a week, so spending on snacks and soft drinks might have increased in the last month or so

I have to shop online for shoes ..Finding my size is a nightmare in Japan.
Other than that I shop locally. Obviously I do my own baking!

Less

less money spent on commuting, buying food from the convenience store, mandatory nomikai, washing work clothes, and being tempted to buy stuff you happen to see while walking to and from work. While my utility bill increased a bit, the amount I saved by staying at home beats it by a longshot.

I hope they are exceedingly good cakes :)

Less. Airline tickets are expensive.

Overall spent less money.
However spent more online when compared with pre-covid times.
Why going to a store and risk getting infected when I can just order online and get it on the same day, or following day?
Of course there are exceptions in which I have the preference to go to the store in person.

I want to say I've spent more online but it kind of evens out as I've spent less in brick and mortar stores, restaurants, cinemas etc.
