All 3 countries are guilty of meddling and much worse.

The peoples of each country deserve so much better than the leaders they've been dealt.

Who knows?

So what if they have?

The US does this all the time.

I think Russia is, not China. The latter is too busy hacking other more important stuff for them.

But again, how come these things never matter when the US does it/ is doing it, even to their own allies?

Two wrongs don't make a right, but it sure does balance things a bit.

yes

Of course they have. Just like the US has.

Russian Federation and China hack for National advancement and the advancement of their Industries who do not have to do much R&D, why USA does hacking to make sure that there is not any interference in USA affairs, but does not hack in the service to Industries in the USA.

No one is that exceptional, or should be allowed to.

Define "USA affairs"? I think it ends up being a type of "national advancement" too, but globally.

To make a broader point, Hillary Clinton in 2011 tried to interfere in the Russian elections and really tried to ruin and sabotage Putin and that is one reason why Putin did the same to her a

This is demonstrably false. Clinton spoke out after the elections in Russia, which means she couldn't have tried to interfere in the elections because the elections were finish before she spoke out.

This outright lying by the right regarding this is repugnant. The right would be ashamed if it had any shame.

I'm sorry, I'm as patriotic as they come but I really have to throw in the towel on this one, we actually do and have done it and still do actually.

Conservative logic at its finest: It's acceptable for Russia to influence our elections because we influence others' elections. That said, I'm as patriotic as they come.

Of course, when the next conservative flames put in a presidential election, we won't hear the end of the meddling accusations from the right.

Obviously Russia has, along with all the other tricks that their incompetent secret service get up to, such as spying and trolling BTL comments sections on websites.

Yes they have, and other nations elections as well, to what effect is less certain, at least to the public domain (the security services may have a clearer idea).

BertieWoosterOct. 8  07:46 am JST Who knows?

Pretty much every intelligence agency in the West. How's that for a start?

So what if they have?

So you are saying that you just like the Donald or that your really, really love him and believe him to be a fine leader?

The US does this all the time.

No we don't.

-1 ( +4 / -5 )

I think the politically correct answer is.

Yes. Russia influenced the US election

China ... maybe, not sure.

But the US did too - under Bush and now Trump, but Obama wouldn’t have because he was nice and loving and honest and fair and the world realized this - after all, he has a Nobel Peace Prize.

Oh my god !!

Say it ain’t so?!

We'll be fighting in the streets

With our children at our feet

And the morals that they worship will be gone

No we don't."

Hahahaha....ROFL...comedy gold.

I'm sorry, I'm as patriotic as they come but I really have to throw in the towel on this one, we actually do and have done it and still do actually. I don't usually agree with Bertie on most issues, but on this one, he is right. To make a broader point, Hillary Clinton in 2011 tried to interfere in the Russian elections and really tried to ruin and sabotage Putin and that is one reason why Putin did the same to her and we are now as we speak trying to influence the Iranian government and elections from within, so we can't as a nation say with deep honesty that we never get involved or have never been involved in influencing other countries elections.

America would NEVER stoop to spy on or hack the internal operations of another country! America is the PINNACLE of moral purity and political liberalism as we have recently demonstrated by even allowing defective, ideologically criminal mentalities to serve on our highest courts! If that's not 'liberal', 'tolerant of differences', and/or 'magnanimous', even accepting of a publicly performing perjurious rapist that, clearly, America is above trying to illegally manipulate others' elections. And, to prove it, we just need to look at our own deceptive and dishonest manipulations of our own elections to understand that any effect offshore 'interference' might have would be completely lost in our own electoral corruption including racist voter regulations, tortuous gerrymandering of election districts, almost certainly 'fixed' voting machines in places, and our specialty Blatant Lies slathered over us like rancid grease which so many swallow and contribute to our national malaise and rapidly increasing suicide rate among the young and the professional who have decided that their society is so not worth living in that DEATH is preferable. WHERE'S POGO?

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

No.

They are not so dumb as to try.

The US is (hopefully) not so dumb as to let them succeed.

Because if they have...it says more about the lack of security for such an important event then it does for Russia's "superior" hacking skills.
