Nor should they. Japan, like all the other developed nations of the world, should stay out of it. And if you don't know what NATO stands for then rethink the value of your opinions
No. The Japanese are and have always been inward looking. Getting involved in regional conflicts when you are not well schooled in global politics is a terrible idea.
It can. by supporting the truth and doing whatever help it can afford. the peace will be brought by the collective help and perseverance and when the time comes.
Unless Japan send Ukraine all the weapons it needs to defend itself including Japan made Patriot missiles. But Japan won't do that just have a meeting about having a meeting, some more hot air and nothing else, so NO!!!!
Japan doesn't have enough clout to make that much of an impact. The country's always had a "Japan first" mentality and their knowledge, involvement, and influence on global issues and politics has at best, been shaky and obscure.
As a neutral country with no real ties to either part and some financial clout, I do think that Japan could play a role in meditating. Or at least in bringing the different parties together.
"any role"? Yes of course. The big fish will determine what happens and neither conflict will be settled until Trump is elected and the troublemaker Putin is satisfied.

It can certainly play a role in Ukraine by doing what it can to support the government against heinous assault.

No for the simple reason nobody cares enough about what Japan thinks on the international stage, except for cosplay and manga.

Another good point bill.

Japan will do and say exactly as the US tells it to do. A good obedient vassal knows its place.

Japan can increase the supply of Patriot missiles. Also, other types of aid including money. So, not directly but it can have an effect.

I would say yes, but only during the rebuilding phase. Both conflicts have layers upon layers that Japan should avoid.

Japan barely has a role in the conflicts it is directly involved.

Should I ask why this list of conflicts doesn’t include Myanmar?

Bringing peace to the Middle East? They have been at war since the dawn of time. And that region is get a pitiful mess of culture and racial clashes.
Ukraine might be a more achievable goal but surely there are more pressing concerns closer to home in Asia such as North Korea?

Japan can push for peace in Ukraine by sending arms (indirectly) and Patriots.

Japan is about as far as the moon from these areas, the best thing japan can do is to provide aid to UN agencies as it did for many years.

No. Japan, just like it's people, is the most passive and not carrying about other countries. So...

Do neutral countries host the military bases of other countries?
