Former Nissan Chairman Carlos Ghosn had huge scope to decide his own remuneration. Do you think companies' chief executive officers should be allowed to decide how much they get paid?

He was managing 3 massive international companies. So lawyers and many people are involved prior to the salary. Which in his 20 year tenure would of been signed when joining. Hence there's no logic to this questionnaire at all.

Well, I should be paid a lot more than I am when compared to CEOs in general. These "titans of industry" are usually just managers, not leaders. There are a few exceptions, sure. But the Nissan boys club certainly aren't.

Of course not.
As capitalism continues to eat itself, hopefully the days of the fat cats are numbered.

Seems like the poor man had to be CFO as well, he managed, while no one else understood International Business, and I say that because no one else, other than Mr Saikawa have had anything to say.

Carlos Goshn fooled most of the people most of the time, but not all of the people all of them time.
