Have you been the victim of harassment, bullying, malicious gossip or tricks on social networking sites, email or in text messages?

I find ironic that the poll is up here, a site where users routinely insult, attack and harass others in the comment section without facing any consequence.

I was a victim of a variation of all these but in real time, not online.

No, not really. However, I only recently joined FB and other than that, I don't really get too involved with social media. One thing that surprises me about FB (from the American end) is how everybody likes to let it all hang out and post what positions they support. I joined FB to stay in touch with people, not to argue with them, so I try my best to remain neutral in that regard.

When I started my apprenticeship. I coped and you learned about adjusting while not lowering you own standards. So those who follow in my footsteps don’t have to but up with what are considered social norms. The newby or the apprentice seem to take the brunt of these actions. I won’t tolerate it in the work place with co workers and will pull them up for their stupidity.

Not really. I shut it down if anything starts.
