Yes, why not? It’s highly probably more and more strictly tested or checked on all ingredients and radiation values than any other food worldwide, through all stages of production and delivery. Considering that, it’s maybe not 100% safe too, but safe at the most possible level.

Since 2011 I always look first where the products are from before buying food. I always buy products from Ishikawa where I live, prefecturs from the Kansai region, or when I vist Aomori which is a few times a year Aomori products.

Knowingly no, because is hard to find their product, except if you go to that region specifically and do shopping.

Why is hard? Because they sell quietly using with certain labelling in a way that they don't have reveal their origin.

By now there is possibility many of you already bought unknowingly those products from your local supermarket, how many people really check food label for raw items. For preprocessed food some people will check for fat, salt, calories etc. People really rare check in details for raw items.

Also you might already eat food from that region through restaurants chains, one is already publicly announce that, while others just do it quietly.

Fukushima rice has always been so cheap when compared with other prefectures I had to give it a try.

Not bad for the price (¥1,200 for 5kg) but I still prefer Tochigi over anything, all Top 3 yummiest rice I ever bought were from there.

Yes, many times at festivals, "pop-up" stores, and places like Midette:

There was also an "antenna shop," as they call them, in Ginza that I bought from a few years back, but I'm not sure if it's there anymore.

I think it's very important to help the region, and I will continue to do so.

At Sukiya, they had Fukushima rice listed as the rice they were using at that branch.

I didn't really have any choice so I ate some in my donburi.

It tasted fine and none of the massive amounts of hair on my back fell off.

I do not care buying foods and beverages from the area. I often buy fruits and vegetables. Especially, the quality of fruits such as peach is as delicious as the ones in Yamanashi, which is famous for fruits produce.

If the foods and beverages had some problems affecting to our health, it would be possible that we had already had some negative symptoms.

Also, any foods have passed strict sanitation check before their shipping to the markets, so nothing need to be concerned.
