quote of the day

Japan has a lot of backers in the House and the Senate and Japan is the number one direct foreign investor in the United States for the last five years. These things have a special appeal to Trump.

Japan will struggle to get noticed by Trump, but that is a good thing if the objective is to avoid tariffs and demands for payments.

Tai :That is correct: If Trump is not keen on coming to the party. don,t argue just say yeah and change the convo to I notice sometime strange when out side waiting I was watching those two SS officers and they were muttering something like Bang ,Trump, and making a gun out his hand. That will sure get his attention and just fade away after that.

U.S. public sentiment towards Japan is favorable, with an increasing interest in Japanese culture and cuisine. Trump is going to be mostly domestic policy-focused but overall relations with Japan will continue to strengthen over the next four years and beyond.

I mean, an important ally which is also a leading direct oregin investor is going to get a lot of attention from any incoming president; it's not like this is specific to Trump. We should stop treating every little thing that he does as ground-breaking, unique, or dramatic.

An important Allie ???? Isn't that Canada or the UK or Mexico or even Australia. I was joking with Australia we are just an unimportant shite Allie at the end of the world who thinks we are that important that the USA would have our backs. No change of that ever happening. Obama show us how we are such an important Allie that he opposed the trade pack that Japan and Australia set up ( TPT ) and were led to believe the USA would sign on but got a huge NO. We Australia and Japan got told you can stick that there the sun don't shine. So No As Trump as proven with rhetoric on the best and close Allie Canada with 25% tariff. USA have no real friends only country that are favoured to trade with are bully with tariff and that is what you can expect for the great freedom loving USA.

USA doesn't have allies. It has 'interests'.

Ad these 'interests' can be thrown under the bus when required.

That's a lot of interests and more loyal than China could ever come up with:

I do appreciate the quote from your beloved Kissinger, though.
