quote of the day

Japanese companies that have spent the past 10 or 20 years asleep at the wheel probably won't survive. Brilliant minds connect globally now, and progress is so accelerated that what took a year before now takes only a day.

They will survive because the goal of both the LDP and business lobby is for Japan to have 0 percent unemployment, even if that means subsidizing these firms and bringing in Vietnamese temporary workers to prop them up.

1000% and theres alot of them. The mamorikei do it by the manual mindset is absolutely everywhere. They will have no one but themselves to blame too those that go down. Wonder what Japan will look like on the other side? Defeated or renewed? It'll happen quick too.

But where in this calculation are the nowhere to see brilliant minds? I mean, yes they now all connect and act globally, but follow in big majority only very misleading paths. And that exactly is, where the slower, disconnected and fax machine based companies step in and surely will prevail.

Innovation doesn't come natuarally to a lot of people, who instead rely upon doing things the way they have always been done. This is the danger of gerontocracies such as Japan. It may not be popular for many people, but I honestly think a lot of people coming in with new ideas will be the best thing to happen here. Its time to start thinking out of the box, an to champion new thinking and innovation. Let the dinosaurs become extinct.
