It's nice to see prefectural and municipal governments doing what they can. But, obviously this needs to change at the national level. Perhaps with Jiminto being humbled by the recent election, and needing to form a coalition, they'll be forced to do more of what the majority of people want, and less of what a handful of party oyaji want.
