Because it was a cover up from the beginning.
Open Minded
The cover up of Fukushima was of a completely different nature vs. this coronavirus. There was a real risk of the spent fuel pools to collapse and make a 300km radius inhabitable for decades (Tokyo being part of it).
So far there is no coronavirus-19 epidemic except in China.
Just keep washing your hands regularly.
