I suspect thought that overall people will be drinking less given that many people will not be going to restaurants and bars.

What does one’s home have to do wi5 crowded trains during rush hour. Are people drinking on trains! Heavens no way.

Unfortunately isolation and a lot unused time can often result in excessive drinking. I made it a rule not to drink alone.

The health burden with covid 19 is going to be nothing once they starting dealing with the health problems that the stress from the virus start to surface, ie liver - kidney damage relationship problems - social issues etc, from all the stay at home and the excess drinking, lack of exercise and social/mental stimulation/interaction.
