As they should.

So it's ok to possibly take away their family, job, property, security (looking after their family)... all for the sake of being late on payments? Interesting.

And what, pray tell, is the penalty for a Japanese national?

Just cancel their insurance coverage then...or legislate it in their visa requirements..or direct debit accounts?

Deportation should be the last resort..

Adhere to the rules of Japan, or leave. Very simple. Japan should only take in quality people. Sensible measures such as this will ensure Japan doesn't become like the UK or many other countries in western Europe.

When I worked for Japanese companies I didn't have a choice, they took it out of my pay before I got it, lol.

The rule in general is fine especially with the caveat of 'may be'.

But what about companies that dodge their social responsibilities?

Whats wrong with Europe?

If you cannot care for what....40000plus why have them here?

Who started skimping off social benefits... Thatcher or places like JP?

Whst happens to Japanese who don't do it? Are they facing any penalties? Apply the rules as equally as possible. Japanese are always so fixated on foreigners.

Whst happens to Japanese who don't do it? (sic)

Who cares? It's their country, not yours, or mine.

I think certain Japanese bureaucrats need to stop picking on us migrants. We're not here to defraud you nor commit crime. The majority of us are quality people seeking a better life, whether we clean the streets, stack shelves in shop, teach or work in an office.

Nothing wrong with the majority of people in the UK or Europe. No matter what our color/creed/ancestry is.

The majority of us worked hard and in unison with each other, despite the alt-right propagandists say.

This divisive disease of prejudice, spin and fear-mongering doesn't have to take root in Japan, least of all (ironically) from its foreign population.
