quote of the day
I don't want to see incidents where businesses refuse people's entries just because they're foreigners. There are many non-Japanese residents living in our prefecture, and it's not desirable to build walls in such places.

By all means, let these establishments accept infected Japanese customers. Then they won't have an excuse to blame foreigners for every disease in the book when they have to close and disinfect the place. I wouldn't want to patronise such places anyway, virus or no virus.
I hope these businesses realise that most infected people in Japan are actually Japanese. Logic can't really compete with stupidity sometimes.

This discrimination comes from above. If you just talk of the virus in terms of ‘importing’ it then you are simply pointing at non-Japanese.

Heartless? Illegal.

And look How the Japanese are treating Yokohama Chinatown

anyone know the name of the restaurant?

Well, Japanese people never work or travel overseas, so this is perfectly acceptable logic.
[Sarcasm of course, folks.]

Ah, yes, refusing admittance to people based upon perceived racial differences, a.k.a. "No meaningful civil rights legislation in Japan."

This is true; and I never see Japanese wash hands and still find many groupie gatherings in parks and in day care centers. I dont think its all stupidity, however. I think you will see much more of this, because its the window or opportunity to release anit gaijin hate.
