Kotaro Yoshimura, a lawyer who has served as an "inheritance administrator." Government coffers received a record 64.7 billion yen boost in fiscal 2021 from the assets of the deceased who had no heirs, according to the Supreme Court.

Inheritance Tax has a lot to do with the inflated prices. My girlfriend Father was going to have the same problem. They avoid the tax by selling his father house while he was still alive and hence avoids paying a inheritance tax.
