quote of the day

Is it appropriate to demolish the house when the murder case remains unsolved? There definitely are things that can be felt only at a crime scene. I would like people to get a sense of how they lived their lives. That sense could lead to a break in the case.

The house has no value, forensic or otherwise, to the conclusion of the case. Beyond, I suppose, serving as an irritating reminder to the police that the killer is still out there somewhere.
