A high-ranking National Police Agency official. Hackers broke into one of the NPS's personal computers 46 times between August 2019 and mid-November by using the virtual private network (VPN) the agency provides to outside companies that it has dealings with.

quote of the day
It's extremely embarrassing that the NPA was successfully attacked when it should have a computer security system that is unbreachable.

When the head of cyber security for the nation is older than me (and I am old) and he says he never used a computer using the rationale that he has someone to take care of those needs for him is anyone really surprised about this at all?
Leadership for technical positions such as these does not require an expert but does require at least a basic level of technical competency in the field

That’s why it is called only ‘virtual private’, not really and physically private. In fact, it’s turning out to be public, an invitation to intruders or even hackers. Stay at home, don’t go to travel, keep distancing...what is now told by all sides according to the corona virus is the same as you should handle your IT network and valuable data. Why don’t you recognize such simple similarities? Keep everything and everyone out who doesn’t directly belong to that agency, enemy hackers as well as friend outside companies.

If a computer is connected to the Internet, it is not "unbreachable", assuming "unbreachable" means it cannot be hacked.
