quote of the day

It is really difficult to identify every case, because so many infections are mild. I would expect a gradual increase in cases in Japan because of silent transmission in the community.

Seriously there are so many “experts” who can’t give us any definitive answers but will then go on to state what seems to be bleeding obvious.

If ANYONE doubts what can happen, if ANYONE thinks life is normal, look at Lombardy, Italy. That’s what can happen. FOLLOW the common sense approach. Wash your hands. Keep away from large crowds. Wear a mask to nullify face touching.

@Wobot - based on advice from “experts” of their own I guess.

I am no expert but from what we see everywhere " gradual increase" especially when supported by limited testing, only lasts for so long till it explodes.

Have a look what is now happening in Indonesia and Turkey that had zero cases for weeks. Does anyone really think Japan's gradual increase can go on forever?

Japanese in general do not like to hug, kiss, or shake hands in public and have always worn masks. Perhaps that is why numbers are low? Or is it the diet of the Japanese that perhaps is helping?

But I have another question. All the business cards being handed back and forth...aren't those sort of like shaking hands?

@Brit: Wow, that is a sobering report. Those thumb you down are also in denial. that video is fact! Follow common sense approach people. No hysteria, no panic. Common sense. Then it is easy to: Stay well!

Gradual increase until it sky rockets and the unprepared panic. If you are lucky the government will use the time to prepare for the worst. If not woe betide you.
