quote of the day

Japan should stop poking its nose into the issue of the Korean Peninsula. As long as Japan refuses to redeem the past, its top task, it will be left alone in the region.

A commentary in North Korea's Rodong Sinmun. North Korea has recently stepped up criticism of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's government, urging Japan to redeem its past military occupation and colonial rule on the Korean Peninsula.

Hahaha! You're hilarious. Kim Jung Un starves his entire country to pay for his military, uses anti-aircraft guns to murder his subordinate officers that disappoint him and put entire family lines in prison for life because just one of their family members didn't toe the party line.

And that's probably just a normal Sunday afternoon for him.

So how many unarmed and innocent North Korean citizens have been killed at the hands of the North Korean government? I'll gladly take my chances in the oh-so-terrible United States.

@extanker would you suggest DPRK follow USA's lead? In 2015, police shot and killed 94 unarmed individuals, a number that fell to 51 in 2016 before rising to 68 in 2017. This year, police have shot and killed 18 unarmed people, eight fewer than at the same time last year. Nationwide, police shot and killed nearly 1,000 people in 2017...

I agree to DPRK 100% the atrocities committed by Japan on Korea must ever be forgotten or forgiven Japan has not even acknowledged or atoned for what it has done historically.

Wow, I didn't know Kim Jong Un was a member here! How you doing Kimmy? No subordinates to murder this morning?

Right on cue.

Maybe North Korea should stop with the hostile tone against Japan first.

Well, that's not saying much coming from NK, but the commentary does have a point. Japan DOES need to address history before demanding things of others in the region.

Crazy as they might be, they’re not entirely wrong.
