No. This only happens in Japan. Japan is unique. But seriously, this person has obviously never spent any time with women. His boss probably told him about it and then he made the comment.

Women are pretty nasty to each other but Japanese women really do take the cake when it comes to passive/agressive and nasty behaviour about looks and weight.

Funny though, I think our posts would be removed if we made the same comments.

Try being honest and tell a Japanese woman, who has the figure of a pencil, that she needs to gain a little weight, and get a few curves, and you will find that nastiness hit you on the head. I mean really, if a guy is giving you some honest feedback, shouldn't they listen to that? The answer is no---so it is really not making themselves attractive to men--try telling them to grow their hair a little longer too--but it is a weird ass subculture of being skinny because skinny and pencil thin figures are somehow deemed good.

Japanese women do seem to take the cake for this, and there is no happy medium, you`re either skinny or fat...that's it.

Ummmmm.....I would say that this is true for Korean women, Mexican women, Brazilian women, American Women, Canadian women, Ukrainian women......
