Toshitsugu Fujii, former chairman of the Volcanic Eruption Prediction Liaison Council and professor emeritus at the University of Tokyo. The government’s Central Disaster Management Council will launch the first full-scale study of evacuation and other measures to deal with massive amounts of volcanic ash that could fall in the Tokyo metropolitan area if Mt Fuji erupts.

Yep, if you didn't have a few air scrubbers/cleaners when your home got covered in ash, you'd no doubt wish you had.

I always wonder about this. We live right next to Mt Fuji. If/when it goes I'm going to have to move it pretty quickly out of here. Good thing they are extending the Shin Tomei to service our area.
