quote of the day

Nissan and Renault should not dwell on the reviewing of cross-shareholding structures or the possibility of a merger because their stances are conflicting and the issue will not be resolved anytime soon. Nissan should rather concentrate on bringing out the full potential of the alliance -- that is the strength which differentiates it from Toyota or Volkswagen.

Renault should tell Nissan to drop charges against Carlos Ghosn or it will sell its Nissan shares to Hyundai, Kia and Daewoo, or maybe to CCP Auto of China.

Nissan is the weakest link, what do they have to offer? Without the alliance they'll just sink like there set before Ghosn joined
