Not only students from Islamic states but curious Japanese students can enjoy the delicacies. Through the cafeteria, I want them to become interested in each other’s cuisine cultures.

Islamic states...

I think it would be better to write Islamic countries. Islamic state brings up the image of throat cutting and suicide bombs.

Islam brings only interdictions, not freedom, including in food. No pork for instance.

Japanese are clueless about Islam customs to force upon the host with time.

I guess, it’s not even halal, because that would at least require two completely separated restaurant storages and kitchens and believing Muslim staff employed. Or he really has all that in one restaurant, but then it means that all meals , also the Japanese and Western recipe ones, are halal.

By the way, what delicacies is he talking about ? I know none specific to Hallal food and have been to many Islamic countries, including Saudi Arabia...

Am I missing something? Apart from pork and alcohol, no mortal person is going to be able to tell the difference between halal and haram food just by tasting it. What is the point unless you're going to convert?

If you avoid alcohol, then all vegan is halal. Win-win.

It is always interesting to try parts from other cultures, cooking is something very unique that can help familiarizing people to how other people live.

Just travel to discover the world, or try food.

Best is to meet the people and invite them or be invited, to share food.
