Toshiaki Yamada of Sakebunka Institute Inc, a private research company that looks at alcoholic beverage cultures. Interest is rising in the so-called sober curious lifestyle, in which people swear off alcoholic beverages regardless of their health condition or physical makeup.

First I have heard of this nonsense. It must be American as it is so very strange. The Mother Church says drinking in moderation is fine.

I gave up drinking over ten years ago and am much better for it. I don’t understand why so many people feel they have to drink.

I work hard, & train hard - (in my opinion) there’s nothing more rewarding than an ice cold beer afterwards

I need a drink after seeing so many ‘health conscious’, ‘new year’s resolutions’ and other ‘buzz-kill’ articles on three-day-weekend, enjoy-the-holiday” edition ?

People should drink at least 2 a day as it’s healthy and what’s the purpose of living without a night cap
