Pictures and video can not be construed as sexual violence. No sir. Psychological violence would be a more acceptable term, but even that is a bit of a stretch.

I believe the best legal course of action lawmakers should go for is invasion of privacy. They need to make it a criminal act to make public a whole host of things individuals would naturally and obviously want kept private, unless all parties involved consent.

For example, if Ken and Naomi make a porn, and Naomi has a copy and puts it on the net without securing Ken's consent, she should be liable for both civil and criminal charges. Yes, its Naomi's porn too, but its naturally between Ken and Naomi together, and not for one to unilaterally make public.

Even writing a book that mentions private affairs of individuals should be criminal unless consent is obtained. Your side of the story is nice and all, but people's private lives should be private unless they approve of it going public.

Wait, it's ok if images or videos of guys are posted without their consent?

@goodchoice, I couldn't agree more. We must have the same kind of mothers.

Deep inside, images of pleasure - like any other shared endeavor - are mutual but limited by trust and convention. Should trust or convention be abrogated, circumstances change the rules.
