quote of the day

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has spooked Prime Minister Fumio Kishida’s ruling party into calling for a doubling of defense spending over five year. Increased tension with China over Taiwan has only added to the sense of urgency.

Nonsense.... He is being pressured by the US which wants all of its vassal states, sorry, allies.... to spend at least 2% of its GDP on defense.

Let's see now: DPRK firing missiles willy-nilly over Japan; China's daily posturing with coastguard and navy ships around Japanese territory; Russia aggressively, if incompetently, invading a neighbour with not a peep of complaint from China and DPRK; China getting petulant over Taiwan. It's hard to know what to do but a bit more defence wouldn't go amiss, I suppose.

Isabel Reynolds.Let me use vocabulary of Joe Biden-its is not true.

reality is different.

Japan is pushed by USA to invest more money in their outdated weapons as no big war around and makers needs sales.business as usual have nothing to do with situation on Ukraine or Moon...

no one is going to attack Japan and Japan is not going anyone as well.

there is one and only country who needs permanent war and high tensions dear Isabel...
