quote of the day

The church itself does not have the power to pass bills. The church hasn’t given me specific suggestions, but I thought I should do what I could under the LDP umbrella.

Even the Japanese constitution guarantees freedom of religion. Many prime ministers were Christians, most politicians probably worship at their banks. I realize money influences a lot of politicians, how many are influenced by their religion?

While Mima is correct that the Moonies can't pass bills, that's not the point. They can influence people like Mima to pass bills that benefit them. Mima probably votes the way the LDP leadership wants him to vote; eliminates all that time thinking.
