quote of the day

The court is not reflecting on its past decision at all. I can’t accept it. As I was stigmatized, I lost many friends and my job. It’s impossible to return to my former life.

Being unable to admit you were wrong is not a good sign, nor a good look. Takes character and strength. I guess the court refuses to admit wrong collectively, as it’s the expedient thing to do when you speak as a group. Easy to hide in a group no matter how much you messed this poor fellas life up.

Shame on the Osaka District Court. Is there anything that can be done for this very wronged man?

“His suit to win redress from the state for the wrongs he suffered was rejected this week by the Osaka District Court.”

On what grounds?

Japan’s legal system is a farce. I bet most of the prisoners are innocent and are simply coerced into confessions.
