Former Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi, criticizing his former protege, current Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, for having terrible judgment in his plan to revise the nation’s Constitution. He says Abe is trying to do "undoable" things while not working on doable things.

Dude's cut from the same nepotistic, Nippon Kaigi stock. Sent troops to support the US illegal war in Iraq, was a frequent visitor to Yasukuni, and is more responsible than anyone for the fact that 40% of Japan's labor force is irregular.

True, he's against revision and nuclear energy but there's no reason to rehabilitate an aging politician now. Nor is there any reason to think he'd support a unified opposition that runs counter to the neoliberal/nationalist consensus.

Excellent insight! Let's also not forget that he's the guy who decided to bring back the fingerprinting of all of us too. But of course, not for the special permanent residents..
