Evan Wolfson, the founder and president of the Freedom to Marry organization, who has fought for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) rights for more than 30 years in the U.S. He told a seminar in Tokyo that the time is ripe for Japan to move forward to achieve freedom to marry.

The problem is the majority doesn’t know that the majority supports the freedom to marry.

So Evan Wolfson has decided to tell the majority what the majority should believe. Once he's given the people the chance to talk, move and rise, there is still no guarantee that the majority will be convinced that a foreigner knows what's best for Japan.
