quote of the day

The Self-Defense Forces' ability to continue fighting and the amount of workable SDF equipment are not necessarily sufficient. It's important to secure sufficient quantities of ammunition and increase the number of workable defense equipment.

There needs to be a panel formed to discuss the parameters of their discussion as precludes to the question that has been put forward. The PM should wait until he at least receives an interim report that contains the talking points and lays out the steps forward in order to address answering the questions raised buy the working group. It’s the only way forward.

Well the mismanagement of Japan by all controlling interests both domestic and foreign has led to this quagmire as well the economic dilemna, pension system fiasco, disappearing population, etc.

A little late now to realize how dire your situation is.

Again, to defend what? There will be nothing left to defend after all the people have left seeking employment in better-paying nations with better social systems and Japan slips from third to fourth biggest economy, to fifth, to sixth, and seventh before 2030, the pension gone, no one having kids because it's just too expensive, and the few that do by accident being taxed out the teeth. All so that they can buy more weapons to defend... well... the nothing that will remain. Kishida knows how desperate things are, so he is using this bombast daily. We need this, we need that, we need these weapons, we need this defense spending, we need to shore up our missiles, we need to get better equipment.

That's why you buy more during peace. Invest more in R&D, learn from half of S.Korea with birth rates even lower then Japan, more problems then Japan, dont take care of many old people, dont pay victims after you received the compensation, more people leaving S.Korea.... yet they are investing huge amounts of money in the military, half the population, half the economy, 20x less territory to defend then Japan, yet S.Korea is on fire when it comes to military spending!

If peace were more lucrative than war then we’d all be living in a better world but it’s not…
