I've read a bit about this and it's not exactly pre-crime from Minority Report. It simply tells police where they should concentrate their resources based on data from previously reported crimes and arrests.

To be honest, I think the police already know exactly where they need to put more officers, but AI and big data is an effective tool to shield them against accusations of racial or ethnically biased policing.
